MRS. JULIA KELLOG DIES AT AGE OF 93

RITES FOR RESIDENT OF CROWELL HOME HELD ON MONDAY

Resident of the Crowell Memorial home since June 12, 1930, Mrs. Julia Eliza Kellog died there Friday, June 30. Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Home, Monday afternoon, with Rev. Mr. Wilcox of Randolph, a former pastor of Mrs. Kellog, officiating. Interment was in the. Blair cemetery.

Mrs. Kellog was born in Cayuga county, New York, December 15, 1840. On August 13, 1865, she was married to Wilbur F. Kellog and their first home was at Independence, Iowa. Later they moved to Lincoln and about 1879 after living at several locations in Nebraska, they moved to Arkansas, where Mr. Kellog died in 1908.

Of the four children born into the home, only one, Mrs. Grace Bunnell, of Lincoln, survives. Also surviving are two grandsons, Wallace Bunell of Lincoln, and Gerald Kellog of Red Cloud. Mrs. Kellog was a woman of strong character and religious principles and her presence at the home will be greatly missed.
