Herman Henry Neiderkruger, for more than 40 years a prominent farmer of Grant township, Washington County, Nebr. was born in Lippe Demolt, Germany, 66 years ago.

While yet a young man he emigrated with his bride to this country in the early 70’s and settled on the farm where he has continuously resided until death relieved him of a period of suffering of several years duration on Friday, Sept. 13th at 11:30 pm.

He leaves to mourn his demise besides a faithful wife, a family of four children, who are Mrs. Ernest Sprick, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Mrs. William Gosker and Mr. J. H. Niederkrueger all of Washington County.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Lutheran church near Vacoma of which the deceased has been a member from the time of its organization, with Rev. L. Grauenhorst officiating. The remains were laid to rest on the family lot in the cemetery near the church and the services were participated in by a large number of friends and neighbors.
