WELL KNOWN WOMAN HAD LIVED HERE THROUGHOUT HER LIFETIME

Daughter of a prominent pioneer couple, and herself widely known in this vicinity, Miss Amelia Goll died Saturday, January 14th, at the Blair hospital after a brief illness. She was 66 years, nine months and 15 days of age at the time of her death, the anniversary of her birth being on March 22,1866.

Miss Goll grew to womanhood north of Blair, where her father farmed and moved here about thirty years ago, where she had made her home since. She lived with her sister, Miss Mary Goll, on west Nebraska street. The two sisters took their nephew, Jacob Schultz, at the time he was two weeks old, his mother having died, and provided a home for him until he reached maturity.

Surviving Miss Goll are two sisters, Miss Mary and Mrs. Matilda Lindstrom, the nephew, Dr. Jacob Schultz, and the following nephews and nieces: Frank, John and Lonnie Biffar; Edwin and Milford Lindstrom, Mrs. Mary Peak and Mrs. Hazel Millar, all of Blair.

Funeral services for Miss Goll were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the family residence, with Rev. Walter H. Jackson, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Blair cemetery.
