Sheldon Keith Spangler

Funeral services for Sheldon Keith Spangler, 10-year-old son of Mrs. Sheldon A. Spangler, who died Friday morning in a Fremont hospital, were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church in Nickerson at 2 o'clock. Rev. Homer L. Dickerson, pastor of the church, had charge of the services.

Sheldon was taken ill Thursday evening and early Friday morning was removed to a Fremont hospital where he died a few hours later. While at play the child bad apparently received a blow in his abdomen which caused an internal hemorrhage.

Sheldon Keith was born January 2, 1925, at Nickerson. He is survived by his mother; one brother, Gordon, and two sisters, Janet and Eileen. His father died in July, 1932, of injuries received in an accident.

Four uncles of the boy, Guy Spangler, Louis Spangler, Mac Spangler and Harold Spangler, acted as pallbearers. Burial was at Ridge cemetery in Fremont.
