Funeral services for Frances Jensen, age 80 of Blair, who died at Terra Haute, Indiana, May 10, 1990, were held Monday, May 14 at First United Methodist Church in Blair, with Rev. Russell Terman officiating. Burial was in the Craig, Nebraska Cemetery.

Frances M. Hale was born on February 17, 1910 at Lakeview, Iowa, to Fred and Elizabeth Rainbow Hale. She attended school at Tekamah and Nebraska City, graduating from Nebraska City High School in 1927.

She received her bachelor's degree in education from Dana College in 1963. She taught for 14 years in rural school in the Tekamah and Craig, Nebraska area and sixth grade for 17 years in the Blair Public Schools.

On August 10, 1935, she was married to John T. Jensen in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #157 at Craig, Nebraska and a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma, N.S.E.A.

She is survived by her husband, John; one son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Mary Jensen, Terre Haute, Indiana; daughter and son-in -law, Karen and Kent Howard, Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Grace Shrum, Blair, Nebraska and a brother, Ray Hale of Texas.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
