GEORGE L. PECK OF FONTANELLE DIES

ILLNESS OF SIX WEEKS FATAL TO RESIDENT OF WASHINGTON COUNTY

George L. Peck, 56, Fontanelle, died in a Fremont hospital Sunday morning after an extended illness. He had been seriously ill for the past six weeks.

Mr. Peck was born in Richmond, West Virginia, October 2, 1880, and came to Nebraska early in life, engaging in the painting and paperhanging business at Fontanelle. He was married August 7, 1918, at St. Paul's Lutheran church parsonage in Arlington to Miss Lottie Kruger.

He is survived by his wife. His parents, one sister and a brother preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home and at 2 pm at. Salem Lutheran church in Fontanelle, the Rev. W. J. Goemmel officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
