January 29, 1914- Arlington Review Herald- Leander Pollock

The grim reaper has again visited the people residing over in the Elkhorn valley, calling to his reward Leander Pollock. He had been suffering for some time with diabetes, but until the last three weeks he had never been very sick or thought to be dangerously ill. He passed away peacefully at 1:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, aged 34 years, leaving a wife and three small children, four sisters and two brothers to mourn his loss. He was born and raised in Dodge County and has many friends in and around Arlington. He was married about five years ago to Miss Martha Hetrick, also of Dodge County. Funeral services were held at the Arlington M.E. church at 1:00 o’clock last Monday and the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Arlington cemetery, Rev. J.D. Hammel officiating.
