LONA JEAN HANSEN PNEUMONIA VICTIM

WAS YOUNGEST DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. HANS HANSEN

After an illness of two weeks, double pneumonia was fatal Tuesday to Lona Jean Hansen, 13 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen of Herman, who passed away at the Hansen home about two o’clock Tuesday a.m. The little girl was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Hansen.

Burial services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Baptist church. Rev. Immanuel Petersen will conduct the services. Burial will be made in the Herman cemetery.

She is survived by her father and mother; two sisters, Harriet and Marie; and four brothers, Harlan, Allen, Lyle and Gerald.

RITES ARE HELD AT BAPTIST CHURCH; WAS THIRTEEN MONTHS OLD

Lona Jean Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen of Herman, was born at Herman, Nebraska on December 29, 1933, and passed away Tuesday, February 5, 1935 at the age of one year, one month and seven days. All that loving hands could do for the patient, little sufferer was done, but to no avail.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church last Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock following a short prayer at the home at 1:30. Rev. Immanuel Petersen of the Hill Creek Lutheran church officiated.

Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. Ivan Helms and Mrs. F.B. Schrader who sang three selections.

Burial was made at the Herman cemetery. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her parents, three sisters, Harriet, Marie and Lillian; four brothers, Harland, Allan, Lyle and Carroll; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Peter F. Christensen, Herman, and Mrs. Marie Hansen of San Diego, California, and other relatives and friends.
