George Philbrook was born in Greenville, Ill., on Feb. 11, 1904 and died in an Omaha hospital June 6, 1935 at the age of 31 years, 3 months and 25 days.

He was raised at Vandalia, Ill., coming to Omaha several years ago and spent much of the past three years on a farm east of Ft. Calhoun. He is survived by his parents, and four brothers. Many friends also mourn the untimely death of this young man, whose illness was of short duration.

The funeral services were held at the Sievers Mortuary Saturday afternoon, with Rev. R.H. Prentice as the officiating clergyman, and burial was in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
