MRS. CHRISTENSEN FUNERAL SATURDAY

SERVICES HELD AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH FOR BLAIR WOMAN, 65

Funeral services for Mrs. Hans P. Christensen, 65 who died last Thursday morning at her home on north Walker Avenue, were held at First Lutheran church Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. James N. Lund, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Christensen died unexpectedly. She had not been ill.

As Christina Christensen, she was born in Slesvig-Holstein, Denmark, November 2, 1871 and came to Nebraska with friends when ten years old. She was married to Fred Hansen in 1892 and to them was born a son, Fred. Mr. Hansen died in 1894. On March 11, 1896 Mrs. Hansen was married at Kennard to Hans Peter Christensen, and in 1915 they moved from a farm near Herman to Blair, where they have resided since. In Blair she had been an active member of the Danish Ladies Aid of First Lutheran church.

Mrs. Christensen is survived by her husband; her son, Fred Hansen; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Wisdom of Leavenworth, Kansas; and a granddaughter.
