MRS. MAE EVANS BURIED IN BLAIR

FORMER MAE HENDERSON, 55, DIED AT HOME IN OMAHA LAST THURSDAY

Mrs. Frank Evans, 55, native and former resident of Blair, died early last Thursday morning at her home, 3614 Dodge Street.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Henderson, she was born in Blair July 8, 1881 as Mae Henderson. Her father was once school superintendent of Washington County.

After attending the city schools and being graduated from Blair high school, she was married to Benjamin Frank Evans March 22, 1899. To them were born four children, two of them dying in infancy.

Surviving Mrs. Evans are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Frances Erion of Chicago, and a son, Charles Evans of Omaha; one sister, Mrs. W.J. Sas of Blair, and a brother, John Henderson of Newman Grove, Nebraska. There are many more distant relatives.

Services were conducted at the Crosby-Carlson-Myers funeral Home in Omaha Saturday afternoon, the Rev. W.H. Hunter of the Benson Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in Blair Cemetery.
