MRS. IDA KUBIE BURIED SUNDAY

NATIVE OF GERMANY, BLAIR WOMAN SURVIVED BY FOUR CHILDREN

Mrs. Ida Kubie, 86, widow of William Kubie, died here last Friday after a long period of ill health.

She was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, January 13, 1851 and came to the United States in early life. She and Mr. Kubie were married 58 years ago, in 1879.

Mr. Kubie and a son, Paul preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, Ernest of Blair, William and Fred Kubie of Herman, and a daughter Mrs. William Behrendt, Herman. There are 21 grandchildren and one great grandson.

The Rev. Thomas J. Reese, pastor of the Baptist church, was in charge of the funeral, held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bendorf Funeral Home. Interment was in Blair cemetery.
