Mrs. Mary Bowes, 82, of Omaha, died of pneumonia Sunday night at her home, 6327 Wirt Street. She had lived in Omaha since 1900.

Mrs. Bowes was a sister of the late Joseph McGuire, on-time Blairite and later mayor of Benson, who was buried in Holy Cross cemetery here May 5. She is survived by three daughters, two sons, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held yesterday at 9 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Benson, interment following in Holy Cross cemetery here.
