FUNERAL HELD FOR ARLINGTON WOMAN

FUNERAL SERVICES ARE CONDUCTED FOR MRS. ABNER HESTER, AGED 49

Funeral services for Mrs. Abner Hester, 49, of Arlington, who died last Monday, were held last Tuesday at the Arlington Methodist church, the Rev. H. C. Van Valkenburgh officiating.

Music was furnished by Misses Marian Menking and Muriel Rosenbaum, with Miss Melva Meierhenry at the piano. All are classmates of Mrs. Hester's children, Genevieve and Carl, in Arlington high school. Members of the senior class attended the services in a group.

Pallbearers were H. H. Edmonson, Chet and Fritz Heuerman, Elmer Sperling, Ed Renard and Howard Marshall. Burial was made in the family plot in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Hester, as Dora Pack, was born in Missouri April 3, 1889, where she grew to womanhood and was married January 29, 1908, to Mr. Hester. They had spent most of the ensuing years in Nebraska. To them were born seven children, one of whom, Beatrice, died in 1926.

Surviving Mrs. Hester are her husband; one daughter, Genevieve; five sons, Glen of San Francisco, Kenneth of the U. S. navy, Lessie, Lee and Carl at home. There are three sisters, a brother, and three grandchildren.
