Robert C. Kremke

June 7, 1933 – May 31, 2022

Robert was born in Millard, Nebraska and graduated in 1951.

He was the winning pitcher for Class A Legion Baseball Tourney in 1950. Robert was All State guard on 1951 Class D Basketball team. He attended UNL from 1951-1953 and 1955-1957. He graduated with a BA in Athletic Training and played both basketball and baseball at UNL.

From 1953- 1955 he was enlisted in the Army during the Korean War. He played on the Army Baseball team in Europe and was an athletic trainer for the basketball team. 1958-1963 Robert coached and taught at Weeping Water Highschool and won the State basketball championship in 1960. He enjoyed sports (especially basketball, baseball and football). Robert also followed high school sports and loved Husker volleyball. He loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughters.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charleen (Peters) Kremke.

He is survived by daughter, Donnette (Chip) Kremke-Bastian; granddaughters, Charlsie and Madison Bastian; special friend, Norma Heldt; many nieces, nephews; dogs, Bo and Coach; cat, Wally.

Visitation-Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Funeral Service-Friday, June 3, 2022 at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH OF FONTANELLE at 10:00 AM

The family is requesting that you dress casual and wear your favorite team shirt to the service.

The family invites you to join them for lunch following the committal at the Arlington Cemetery. Those who wish to stay at the church during the committal are welcome to wait in the fellowship hall.
