MERTAL HAMMOND RITES TUESDAY

Eastern Star services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Bendorf Funeral Home for Mrs. Mertal Hammond, 93 years of age, who died Saturday at the Plattsmouth Masonic Home. Interment will follow in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammond was born May 18, 1869 at Monroe, Wis. Her husband, the late William Hammond, died in 1937. He was a veterinarian in Blair for many years.

Mrs. Hammond is a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, and a member of the organization for over 50 years.
