November 19, 1914- Arlington Review Herald- Alta Frederika Louise Gosker

Alta Frederika Louise Gosker was born November 10, 1904. Having undergone an operation for appendicitis on the 3rd of November, when she did not mend as rapidly as she should, expert physicians were summoned from Fremont and Omaha, and everything done to bring about a permanent cure, but the will of the Almighty Father decreed otherwise, and she passed silently into the arms of her Creator at 11:25 in the evening. The immediate cause of her death was pronounced peritonitis.

Alta was an exceedingly bright girl and had been attending the Neff School for about 5 years. Her parents and brothers and sisters are prostrated with grief over her untimely departure, and she leaves a large circle of school acquaintances that will miss her happy face from their midst. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Vacoma Church at 1:00 p.m. and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near the church. Rev. Grauenhorst officiating in the last sad rites.
