Gregory Lee Schmid "Gonzo", age 54 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away October 5, 2022.

Greg was born October 12, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Doug and Judy Schmid. He attended Blair Public Schools, graduating in 1986.

Greg married the love of his life, Jody, on September 1, 1990 at First United Methodist Church in Blair. To this union the couple welcomed their son Zach.

Greg worked for Multicolor Corporation for over 20 years as a Press Operator.

Greg loved spending time with family and friends at Timber Ridge, driving his Razor. He also loved riding his Harley and shooting with his son, brother, dad and friends.

Greg is survived by his wife of 32 years Jody Schmid, son Zach (Alex) Schmid, mother and stepfather Judy and Gary Johnson, stepmother Betty Schmid, brother Jeff (Heidi) Schmid, mother-in-law and father-in-law Ken and Earline Oltjenbruns; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Doug Schmid, grandparents: Ray and Lucille Spanton and Robert and Jerrine Schmid; uncles: Larry Spanton, Steve Schmid and Dennis Schmid.
