July 15, 1943 - October 24, 2022

Janice Rae (Zolck) Boan passed away surrounded by family in Frankfort, Kansas on Monday, October 24th, at the age of 79.

Jan was born on July 15th, 1943 to John and Rita (Ring) Zolck in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Zolck, father, John Zolck, and grandson, Monte McWilliams.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Gary Boan of Blue Rapids, KS; daughters Chris (Steve) Gress and Amy (Josh) Clark both of Ashland, NE; Kim (Jeff) Wagner of Blue Rapids, KS and Connie (Randy) McWilliams of Waterville, KS; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a brother Dennis (Nancy) Zolck of Arlington, NE.

VIEWING is from noon to 8pm Thursday, with VISITATION between 5-7pm, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Marysville. A PRAYER SERVICE will follow the visitation at 7pm.

A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 11am Friday, October 28, 2022, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Marysville. Cremation will follow the service with a private inurnment at the Czech Moravian Cemetery south of Blue Rapids.
