Survivors: sons, Dave (Mary) Schneider, and Dan (Judy) Schneider; grandchildren, Dan Jr., Elliot, Kelsey, Derrick, Karly and Kassie and their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters-in-law: Louise Mencke, and Joyce Wrich.

Following Jeanette's wishes, she was Cremated, and SERVICE will be held Thursday, November 10, at 10:30am at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will follow in the German Cemetery. VISITATION: Wednesday, November 9, from 5-8pm at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Jeanette H. Schneider, 98, passed away Oct. 19, 2022, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. Following Jeanette's wishes, she was cremated, and service will be held Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m., at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the German Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9 from 5 to 8 p.m., at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Jeanette Wrich was born May 19, 1924, to Harry and Helen Wrich on the family farm south of Kennard. She attended Wayne State Teachers College to receive her teaching certificate and later received her bachelor’s degree from Dana College. Jeanette taught in Washington County Schools for over 40 years, the majority of years were spent at Washington School in the Village of Washington and she was always appreciative of the support she received from that community.

Jeanette married Ray Schneider on Dec. 8, 1943, right before he was sent to war. They were married 69 years and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and dancing to the Tommy Bishop Band. Three sons were born to the marriage: David, Richard and Daniel.

Jeanette was an active community volunteer. She had led departments at the Hospital Rummage Sale, was active in her extension club and helped as a 4-H volunteer. After retiring from teaching, she worked in the circulation department of Enterprise Publishing.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Ray, son Richard; brothers: Virgil and Bill Wrich and brother-in-law George Mencke; sister-in-law Shirley Wrich; niece Sharon Miller and husband Dale; nephews Dwight Wrich and Todd Miller. Jeanette is survived by her sons: Dave (Mary) Schneider, Dan (Judy) Schneider; grandchildren: Dan Jr., Elliot, Kelsey, Derrick, Karly and Kassie and their spouses; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; sisters-in-law: Louise Mencke, Joyce Wrich.

Memorials are suggested to the Kennard Fire Department, Arlington Veteran’s Club or Blair Community School Foundation.
