SALLY COOKE FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT BLAIR

Blair, Neb—Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Cooke, 62, who died Saturday in an Omaha hospital after an extended illness, will be held at 10am and again at 2pm Monday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.

Burial will be Springwell Cemetery in Omaha.

Survivors: mother, Mrs. Mary E. Norlem, Omaha; husband Hugh Cooke, Blair; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Campbell and Mrs. Nadine Westfall, both of Omaha, and three grandchildren.

RITES HELD MONDAY FOR SALLY COOKE

Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Cooke, 62 years of age, were held today (Monday) at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Father Sam Elliston officiating with interment in Springwell Cemetery in Omaha.

Mrs. Cooke died Saturday in an Omaha hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Cooke was born October 2, 1898 in Omaha. She is survived by her husband, Hugh; her mother, Mrs. Mary Nolan of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Campbell and Mrs. Nadine Westfall both of Omaha; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Helen LaGuess of Gordon, Mrs. Alva Goodenough and Mrs. Harriette Hayes of Omaha; two brothers, Ted Norlem of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Em Norlem of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mrs. Cooke operated a café in Blair for several years and later was associated with her husband in business, until he retired.

Pallbearers are Rudy Fick, Orval Scheffler, Wilbur Lowe, Fritz Wolff, Bernie Lundt and Sam Haller.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
