Danny E. Parrish Sr. 76 of Arlington, Nebraska passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home. He was born June 24, 1946 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Danny grew up in rural Washington County, NE mostly in Bennington, but also lived in Washington, NE and after his marriage they moved to Fremont. He married Bonnie Hetrick July 8, 1989 at Fontanelle, NE. Danny worked for Knudsen Oil & Feed in Washington, NE for 52 years. In 2019 he moved to Arlington.

Danny attended Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle and loved sports, especially wrestling, he loved music especially barbershop.

He is survived by his son, Danny Jr. (Chris) Parrish of Omaha; daughters, Dianna (Rob) Loptin of Bennington, NE and Denise (Marc) Kimnach of Omaha; step-sons, Mike (Trisha) Hansen of Snyder and Mark Hansen of Phoenix, AZ; step-daughter, Michele (Billy) McManigal of Fremont; brother, Steve (Cheryl) Ransdell; sister, Mary (Russ) Dickerson and sister-in-law, Pam Ransdell all of Louisburg, North Carolina; first wife, Dixie Campbell of Washington ,NE; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Waylon D. and Evelyn (Voss) Parrish and mother, Loree Ransdell; wife Bonnie Parrish; sister, Connie Ransdell and brother, Joseph Ransdell.

Funeral will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle, NE. Rev. Allison Siburg will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 P.M., Wednesday at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be at Fontanelle Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Bennington High School Booster Club.
