MRS. CHRIS HOLSTEIN RITES HELD TUESDAY

Mrs. Chris Holstein passed away July 10th at Rochester, Minnesota following an illness of about a week's duration.

Deceased was born March 21, 1923 at Trenton, Mo., and on June 20, 1940 was married to Chris Holstein at David City, Nebraska.

For a time they made their home in Blair, but in November, 1942 they moved to South Dakota and when she suddenly became ill she was rushed to the hospital at Huron and later taken to Rochester.

She is survived by her husband and her mother, and six sisters and two brothers, all of whom grieve deeply her sudden death.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. D.D. Kennedy officiating and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dr. C.D. Howard, Bennard Reeh, Gordon Vinton, Bruce Rogers, Charles Alexander and Guy VanDeVenter, all of Blair.
