Calvin Sackett, of Harrisonville, Mo., originally from Blair, died Dec. 20, 2022.

Viet Nam veteran. Calvin was especially fond of animals and his pet boxer Lucy.

He is survived by daughters Kristy (Phil) Horn, Herman, Hollie (Dave) Rosser, son Nathan Sackett, Omaha; six grandchildren; one great grandson; Uncle Richard and Aunt Mary Lou Petersen, Herman, Aunt Janice Johnson, Mesa, Arizona; nieces, many cousins and special friends Chuck Chase and Roger Rybin. Preceded in death by mother Darleen Sackett, sister Jane Eppley and grandmother Julia Petersen.
