He was preceded in death by his parents, Dairl Claxton and Vivian Pritchard; brother, Dale Claxton and sister, Carolyn Valdez.

He is survived by his children, Dan Claxton (Peggy), Dave Claxton (Jane), Debbie Arnold (Mike), Doug Claxton, Jr. (Denise), Jake Claxton, and Jesse Claxton; grandchildren: Brandon Claxton (Lindsay), Brittany Willis (Jacob), Brooke Claxton, Sadye Willard (Tim), Kylee Claxton, Alex Finnestad, Hannah Serpico (Tony), Stephen Arnold (Maureen), Amanda Raney (Jeff), Ashley Lebeda (Braden), and Hunter Claxton; great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Christian and Ava Claxton, Amory, Owen and Beckett Willis, Levi and Lyla Serpico; sisters, Bonnie Christiansen, Judy Moore (Dale), and Sherry Zwally; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: Saturday, March 11th, at 1pm at Emmanuel Fellowship Church, 8345 Crown Point Ave., Omaha, NE 68134. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Step Up to Life.
