| Bernice "Babe" K. (Stricklett) Halstead of Bend died Monday of natural causes. She was 90.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Halstead was born May 6, 1911, in Blair, Neb. She married Floyd Halstead on Oct. 31, 1929, in Logan, Iowa.
She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's construction company.
Mrs. Halstead enjoyed crocheting, her dog, and watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers play football.
Survivors include her daughter, Dee McNulty of Bend; three granddaughters, Nancy Cole, Vicki Van Cleave and Lori Mills; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
