Luke S. Christiansen, 38, of Omaha, passed away April 12, 2023. Preceded in death by grandparents K.V. and Alice Christiansen and Lawrence and Mary Ellen Moreland Quandt, step grandfather Harvey Quandt. Survived by wife Heather, and children Kate and Alex, parents Keith and Rosalee Christiansen of Blair, NE, sister Marie and Bryant Mock of Marion, NC, and their children Kaylor and Elaina, and brother Jay Christiansen of Blair, NE, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Luke grew up in Blair, Nebraska. He attended the Blair Community schools, graduating from Blair High School in 2003. He loved basketball, golf, and all things music. Luke's love for math and science led him to pursue a Computer Engineering degree at the Peter Kiewit Institute at UNO. Luke was the valedictorian in High School, which helped him earn a Walter Scott Scholarship that paid for all his college education. Due to Luke's love for learning and desire to give back he started the "Luke Christiansen Memorial Scholarship" in Blair, NE and Osmond, NE shortly before passing. The first scholarships will be awarded this coming May. In 2007 Luke finished his Engineering degree as valedictorian and pursued a career at Union Pacific Railroad for the next 12 years. Luke transitioned to Buildertrend in 2017 where he most recently served as the SVP of Operations.

On June 18th, 2010 Luke married his best friend and soul mate Heather Christiansen in Glenwood, Iowa. Their daughter Kate was born July, 30 2016, followed by their son Alex on January 3, 2019. His family continues to reside in Omaha, NE. Luke was passionate about many things! He enjoyed traveling, running, hiking, the Iowa Hawkeyes, Formula 1 Racing, and fast cars. Taking his kids to local car shows was something he always looked forward to every summer. Luke loved being in God's creation. Most of all he enjoyed trees, Aspens being his favorite. He has always been very involved in his community. He has served on many boards across the city over the years and started numerous non-profits. He was most passionate about the Business Ethics Alliance Board where he served for over a decade up until he passed.

Luke greatest legacy will always be his Christ-like love for people. He was a humble and kind soul, putting others before himself. He loved reflecting on deep questions and challenging others to invest in their personal growth. He will always be remembered for his positive attitude and big grin in the midst of adversity. He will be missed by so many, but an inspiration for years to come!
