Age 94 Adelyne K. Backhuus, of Bennington, passed away April 17, 2023.

Preceded in death by parents, F.W. and Katherine Bull; husband, Pete; and son, Terry Backhuus.

Survived by children: Mark (Karla) of Blair, Nancy (Van) Mohr of Bennington, Mike (Carole) of Blair; daughter-in-law, Annette Backhuus (Gary Doll) of Nickerson, NE; 11 grandchildren: Erica (Terry) Morrison, Mandy (Cody) Henrickson, Seth (Jenny) Backhuus, Mallory Mohr (Dennis Baker), Joel (Katie) Backhuus, Ryan (Julia) Backhuus, Jacob (Emily) Mohr, Shelby (Brad) Starken, Bailey (Justin) Stork, Erin (Josh) Kage, and Joel Schuett; and 16 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, 10:30am, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bennington. Interment: Flower Hill Cemetery. VISITATION: Thursday, from 4-7pm, with family receiving friends from 5-7pm, at St. John's, Bennington. Memorials to the church or the Alzheimer's Association.
