James H. Prucha, age 70, of Washington County, peacefully passed away at his home on March 27, 2023, surrounded by family.

James is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann, son, Lucas, daughter-in-law Erika, and granddaughter, Mila Wren of Lincoln, and daughter Deia of Blair.

He is also survived by sisters Rita (Bob) Walter of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Fran (Dave) Peatrowski of Littletown, Colo., Marian (Bob) Rust of Sandpoint, Idaho, and brothers Tom (Sarah) Prucha of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Bob (Linda) Prucha of Tempe, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Open House will be held Saturday, April 29 from 12 to 3 p.m. at St. Bernards Catholic Church -The Clairvaux Center - 3601 N 65th Street, Omaha, NE

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Joseph's Indian School of Chamberlain, South Dakota.
