Harry Andrew Navrude, age 78 of Blair, passed away on May 7, 2023, at Edgewood Memory Care in Fremont, Neb.

Harry was born Dec. 2, 1944, to Henrietta and Siguard Navrude in Dunlap, Iowa. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum, Neb., (19862 County Road 20) in Blair.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home (444 South 17th Street) in Blair, NE from 6-8 p.m.

Harry graduated from Woodbine, Iowa, in 1963. He then worked at Vicker’s in Omaha, Neb., following that moved to the farm in 1968 and farmed until his brain tumor in 2016 when he had to retire. He then met Jane Navrude through a mutual friend at the Gunderson’s drive. They later married on Oct. 6, 1967, and had two children.

Harry was known for his colorful language. He has #1 at Lee Valley and loved attending tractor pulls. Harry did a lot of custom work, if there was ever something you needed, he usually had it on the farm. He never met anybody he didn’t know.

Harry was preceded in death by his father Siguard and mother Henrietta Navrude and brother Harold. Harry is survived by his wife Mama Jane, daughter Patty (Blair) Boquet of Blair, son Jerry (Melissa) of Fremont and five grandkids April, Ben, Eli, Jasmine and Damon. Brother Delbert (Lois) Navrude of Woodbine. Sister Marlene (Charles) Agosta of Omaha, Neb.. And brother Norman (Fran) Navrude of California.

Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
