Bruce Douglas Krueger

April 18, 1935 - May 4, 2023

Bruce was born on April 18, 1935 to Curt and Elsie (Moeller) Krueger. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grand Island, NE. He graduated from Grand Island High in 1953 and Midland University in 1961. Bruce joined the Army in 1956-59 and served in the Korean War. On September 23, 1961 he married Kaylene Andersen at Orum Lutheran Church.

Bruce worked as the credit manager for Firestone tire and rubber company in North Platte and Norfolk. He started farming in 1967-2010. From 1969-1987, Bruce worked at Valmont as a welder, QA tech and supervisor. He is a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont, National Rifle Assoc., American Legion Post 71, VFW Post 8332 and Spinning Spokes Buggy Club. Past member of Arlington Saddle Club and Hooper Saddle Club.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; sister, DeEtte Ewbank of Michigan; brother-in-law, Norman Ewbank; daughter-in-law, Annete Krueger; nephew, Greg Ewbank.

He is survived by wife, Kaylene (Andersen) Krueger; sons, Michael D. Krueger of Blair, Robert D. Krueger of Arlington; grandchildren, Holly Krueger of South Dakota and Reece Krueger of Lexington, NE; two nieces, two nephews and six great nieces.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9,2023 from 5PM to 7PM at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10 AM at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

Memorials suggested to the family for future designation.
