Services for Mrs. Alma Sperling, 93, an Arlington, Nebraska resident since 1910, are 10am Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Robert J. Backhus will officiate.

Mrs. Sperling died Tuesday at the hospital in Fremont, Nebraska. She was born in Delliehausen, Germany December 27, 1889.

She married Albert Sperling in Hayestown, Nebr. in 1901. He died in 1948.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Edgar, Elmer and Leonard, all of Arlington; a daughter, Mrs. John (Linda) Brinkman, Fremont; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Jakob, Mrs. Olga Stranghoener and Miss Rosa Schorman, all of Fremont; and Mrs. Wilma Scheer of Arlington; 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation is in progress.

Lattin-Dugan-Chambers funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
