Simon Paul Blaha passed away in the arms of his loving parents on July 10, 2023. During his short week on Earth, Simon touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friend.

Simon was the son of Michael and Krystyna Blah. His paternal grandparents were Renee and Steven Blaha, and his maternal grandparents were Tania and Jorge Garcia. He was born at just 26 weeks and 4 days, weighing 2 lbs. 4 oz. His extreme prematurity led to several battles that his little body could not overcome.

Simon was an active baby, constantly kicking and stretching in the NICU as he did in mommy's belly. He was also loved by all of the hospital staff for being such a sweet boy. He will forever be his dad's little buddy, and mom's little love. He passed peacefully in their warm embrace as Krysty sang her favorite song to him, "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra.

Simon Paul Blaha will live forever in our hearts.

Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like, on Jupiter and Mars.
In other words, hold my hand. In other words, darling, kiss me.
Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more.
You are all I long for, all I worship and adore.
In other words, please be true.
In other words, I love you.

Thank you for joining us today. We are incredibly grateful for your thoughtfulness, generosity, prayers, and continued support.--Mike and Krysty.

In loving memory of Simon Paul Blaha
