Reva (Krauer) Dall was born October 10, 1934 in Dodge, Nebraska to Anton II and Mabel (Bartosh) Krauer. She grew up on the family farm near Dodge until the family moved into Omaha. She attended school at Monroe Elementary in Omaha, and graduated from Benson High School in 1952. Growing up, Reva had a habit of getting into trouble with her twin sister, Neva!

Reva married Russell “Gus” Dall on December 20, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska and to this union, five children were born: Tom, Tony, Russ, Joann, and Cindy. The family made their home in Washington, Nebraska. Reva worked for a number of years at Mutual of Omaha, and then was a cook at the Thomas Fitzgerald Veterans Home until her retirement. Her favorite color was blue, and she loved spicy food and chocolate, and dinner at the Bohemian Café.

Reva was a “firecracker”. She was a hard-working woman who always put her family first. She cherished Gus, the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, and did a lot of babysitting for them all. She and Gus loved to go dancing every weekend, and they loved their polka music, especially the “Big Joe Polka Show” on Sundays. Reva enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, and watching old John Wayne movies. She stayed busy cooking and visiting friends, and was part of the neighborhood ladies’ coffee club. Reva will be remembered for her big heart, and the love she had for her entire family.

Reva passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 13 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell “Gus”, and sister Jeannie Timmons.

Reva is survived by her children; Tom (Peggy), Tony (Roz), Russ (Amy) Dall, Joann (Jeff) Pruess, and Cindy (Dean) Edmunds; grandchildren: Jennifer (Bill) Welchert, Justin (Steph) Dall, Elisabeth (Fay) Hiykel, Anton (Lauren) Dall, Amber (Derek) Russell, Alex Dall and partner Matt Knight, Katie Dall, Lilly Dall, Dalton Pruess, Layne (Tyler) Oberembt, Zachary Edmunds and partner Jordyn Wolfe, and Shelby Edmunds; many great-grandchildren; brother Irvie “Dutch” Hook and twin sister Neva Davis; numerous nieces and nephews.
