Betty June Sieckmeyer, age 100 of Blair, passed away peacefully on Aug. 8, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held Aug. 14, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in Blair at 10 a.m. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Betty was born Aug. 17, 1922 in Blair, Nebraska the daughter of John and Nora (Warrick) Compton. She attended country school at Cumming City School and then attended and graduated from Blair High School in 1940. In 1942, she was united in marriage to Ervin Meyer. Tragically, Ervin died during World War II. In 1944, she married Roland Wilkins.

On June 10, 1965, she married Leroy Sieckmeyer. Betty was employed for over 10 years with the City of Blair and for over 13 years for the telephone company. Betty was active in many different clubs during her life including, The Grange, The Betty Club, The Bench Club and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church.

Betty is survived by her children: Ardeth Scheer, Doug Sieckmeyer and Mike Sieckmeyer; grandchildren: Diane (John) Gaddis, Lt Col Aaron Scheer, April (Shane) Humphrey and Jerianne Scheer; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, children: Ruth Ellen Forst and Steve Wilkins; husbands: Ervin Meyer, Roland Wilkins and Leroy Sieckmeyer and special friend Kenneth Jensen; son-in-law Jerry L. Scheer.

Memorials may be directed to the Washington County Food Pantry, First United Methodist Church or Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
