Quello, Stephen Victor

February 2, 1948 - August 7, 2023

Stephen Victor Quello, known to his loved ones as Steve, passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born on February 2, 1948, in Fairmont, Minnesota. Steve's journey came to an end in Omaha, Nebraska, where he peacefully departed from this world.

Steve was a man who sought kindness in others and offered it freely to everyone he encountered. He loved to laugh and had his happiest moments with his sons, Troy and Todd.

Steve attended Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, and worked as a waiter in various fine dining establishments in Omaha. His friendly and personable nature earned him a reputation for exceptional service, often resulting in generous tips even on those rare occasions when he didn't get an order right.

Steve loved to spend time with his family and with the cats that were his frequent companions through the years. He had a deep passion for music, appreciating a wide range of genres, from Handel to Molly Hatchet. In his later years, Steve volunteered at homeless shelters and in soup kitchens. He drew happiness and meaning from supporting people who were struggling in life.

Steve is survived by his sons, Troy Quello and Todd Quello, as well as his grandchildren Gage, Justin, Krystin, and Ashton.

Steve Quello's family will hold a memorial service to remember and honor his life and his legacy of love in Northfield, Minnesota, on Friday, August 18, 2023.
