Kathleen Louise Danner, 92 yrs, of Fremont, NE, passed away, Wednesday August 9, 2023, at her home.

Kathleen was born July 1, 1931, in North Bend, NE, to Leo and Louise (Prokup) Dempsey. She married Richard Danner on November 29, 1950, in Fremont. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1968. Kathleen resided in North Bend, and Arlington before moving to Fremont in 1975. She managed the ancestral farm in rural North Bend the majority of her life. She was very independent and drove up until her death.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (James) Cunningham of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Kimberly A. Danner of Arlington; and grandson, James R. Danner Jr. of Williston, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard R. Danner; daughter, Kathleen Lynn Danner; and son, James R. Danner.

Family receiving friends will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, August 18, 2023, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM, Friday following the visitation at the funeral home.

Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 19th at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, NE.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
