MRS. REBECCA E. HAYES PASSES AWAY AT HER HOME IN ROSEBUD, S.D.

Mrs. Rebecca E. Hayes, aged 84 years, who lived in Wayne for many years, died at Rosebud, S.D. on Wednesday of last week from ailments incident to old age. The body was taken to Craig, Nebraska, where funeral and interment took place Friday. O.B. Hayes of Rosebud, and J.C. Hayes of Norfolk, were in Wayne Monday en route to their homes from Craig.

came to Wayne with her family in 1881, remaining here until 1905. Mr. Hayes passed away fourteen years ago. The surviving sons and daughters are: Mrs. Geo. Roberts, Miss Elizabeth Hayes, O.B. Hayes, J.C. Hayes and C. B. Hayes.
