Gale Phillip Baker, age 79, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away May 6, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.
Gale was born May 14, 1929, in Modale, Iowa to Roy and Mabel (Morris) Baker.
Gale was employed by Peter Kewitt Construction for over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Delores (Gilbert) Baker; 2 sons, Gaylen and Duane Baker; 4 daughters, Shirley Whaley, Gayl Shamblen, Kathy Goolsby and Marcie Koziol; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eileen Andrews and Phyllis Scott.
There will be no viewing or visitation, with a memorial service at a later date.
