Donald H. Rosenbaum, age 80 of Fremont, passed away Oct. 1, at Fremont Methodist Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Military graveside services will be held in the Kennard Cemetery.

Don was born on Oct. 18, 1942 in Blair, Neb., the son of Walter and Carrie Rosenbaum. He grew up in the rural Kennard area and graduated from Kennard High School.

In February of 1962, he joined the United States Navy, serving on the USS Constellation as a store clerk. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1965.

Don was a longtime employee of Cargill from which he retired.

He is survived by his sister Connie (Bob) Sheets, brother Rodney Rosenbaum, along with many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, sisters Marsha Vogt and Sharon Pedersen.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
