Betty Reynolds, 84 yrs, of Fremont, NE, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Methodist Fremont Health.

Betty was born November 9, 1938, in Ainsworth, NE, to Edison and Florence(Rogers) Herron. She married Floyd L. Reynolds in Omaha, NE in 1955.

She resided in Kennard, NE for 20 years before moving to Santee, NE.

Floyd preceded Betty in death on July 12, 2004. She moved to Fremont in 2015.

Betty was known for her cooking and baking, especially her wedding cakes. She owned and operated the Floyd and Bettys Café in Santee, NE. She was a member of the Kennard Women’s Auxiliary Fire Department.

Betty is survived by her sons, Gary (Stacie) Reynolds of Fremont, Robert (Lori) Reynolds of Helena, MT, and Harry Reynolds of Arlington, NE; sister, Myrna Hayes of Shenandoah, IA; 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, and Alex Reynolds, and Cody Reynolds; 3 great-grandchildren, Ariel, Levi, and Bella Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; son, Floyd; 4 brothers; 4 sisters.

Graveside service will be 12:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Memorials may be directed to the Fremont Fire Department.
