Charles K. Freyermuth, age 86 years, of Omaha, NE, passed away Wednesday, October 18th, in Omaha, NE.

VISITATION: Monday, October 23rd, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roeder Mortuary 108th Chapel, with FUNERAL SERVICE, Tuesday, October 24th, 11:30 a.m., at Roeder Mortuary 108th Chapel. PRIVATE FAMILY INTERMENT with Military Honors will be at Beemer, NE, Cemetery. Memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society.

Charles K. Freyermuth was born on June 8, 1937, in Creston, NE, to Eldon and Gladys (Parks) Freyermuth. Charles attended Cuming Co. Rural School District 7, graduated from Beemer High School 1955, and graduated from Norfolk Junior College in 1966. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1957 as CS3.

He was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Giles on December 22, 1983, the love of his life.

He worked for General Wholesale as DP Manager in Norfolk, NE, from 1959 through 1973. He then worked for Empire Fire & Marine as Vice President of IT in Omaha, NE, from 1974 and retired in 1995. At the time he was with Empire Fire and Marine he also had his own consulting business as an IT professional. In 2003, he began working for Real Estate Associates and retired 2015.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Gladys (Parks), of Beemer, NE; granddaughter, Andrea Kruger, of Omaha; and brother, Larry.

Survived by wife, Mary Ellen (Giles) Freyermuth, of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Kent Roberts, Valley, NE; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Karen Freyermuth, Blair, NE; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Pat Freyermuth, of Omaha, NE; daughter, Christine Freyermuth, Omaha, NE; eight grandchildren, Valerie, Ryan, Kelli, Nicholas, Christopher, Evan, Kaitlin and Jarid; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marlene Freyermuth, Beemer, NE; two nephews and one niece. His family meant the world to Charles.
