Harry Hineline Rites Tuesday

Harry E Hineline, a resident of Washington County and Blair his entire life, died at an Omaha hospital Sunday, October 10, after a lingering illness. He suffered from leukemia.

The deceased was born at DeSoto 69 years ago June 4, 1885, the son of the late Frank and Cynthia Hineline. He grew up on a farm in the DeSoto vicinity and spent his entire lifetime engaged in farming until his retirement about 10 years ago. Since then his interest has still been with the farm, and he spent much of his time helping his sons and dealing in livestock.

He was married to Dollie May Green Sep. 24, 1906, and to this union 8 children were born. All of whom survive their father's parting.

The daughters are Mrs. Stanley Byers (Minnie) of Cascade, Idaho; and Agnes, (Mrs. Waine Allen) of Blair.

The sons, all of whom live in or near Blair, are Scott, Clyde, Vernon, Lloyd, Roland and Kenneth. The sons served as pallbearers at their father's service Tuesday.

There are 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; (Dollie having died 3 years ago).

Services were held Tuesday at the Methodist Church and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

MR. HINELINE DEAD; AGE 69

HARRY HINELINE, EX-FARMER, HAD SPENT ENTIRE LIFE IN BLAIR AREA

Native and lifetime resident of the Blair area, Harry Hineline died Sunday at University Hospital in Omaha. He had been ill and confined to the hospital nearly four weeks. He was 66.

The body was taken to the Campbell Mortuary. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Methodist Church. The Rev. Melvon Ireland was in charge, with interment following in Blair Cemetery.

Son of pioneers, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hineline, Harry Hineline was born at Desoto June 14, 1885. He farmed near Blair most of his life, until retiring several years ago.

He and Dollie May Green were married in September, 1906. She died Jan. 6, 1951.

Mr. Hineline is survived by six sons, John Kenneth, Vernon, Clyde and Scott Hineline all of Blair and Lloyd Hineline of Spiker; and two daughters, Mrs. Stan Byers (Minnie) of Cascade, Idaho, and Mrs. Waine Allen (Agnes) of Blair. There are 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four brother, Charles and James Hineline of Blair, Bert Hineline of Omaha and Clifford Hineline of Sheldon, N.D.; and two sisters, Mrs. Claude Matthews of Omaha and Mrs. Henry Ladwig of Holdrege. Preceding Mr. Hineline in death were a brother, Everett, and a sister, Mrs. Louie Wise (Minnie).
