Steven George Vischulis, age 65 of Blair, passed away Nov. 25, 2023 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Steve was born Oct. 21, 1958, in Oak Park, Ill., the son of George and Pat Vischulis. He attended Military School in Illinois. On Feb. 7, 2006, he was united in marriage to Mary Kaiser. The couple lived in several different states before settling in Blair and residing there for the last 14 years. In his younger years, Steve was a very talented pianist. He loved fishing, camping and will always be remembered as a hard worker and working as a pipe fitter at Cargill. In his free time, he enjoyed making gifts out of metal for his son.

Steve is survived by his wife Mary; son Alex; brothers Don and David; sisters Linda and Barbara; and cousin that he always considered his sister, Linda, along with extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and mother-in-law Donna Kaiser.
