Jerri J. Walkenhorst, 81 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Methodist Fremont Health.

Jerri was born on October 7, 1942 to John and Eva (Nolan) Schriner in Kearney, NE. Jerri grew up in California and Nebraska.

On December 13, 1959, she married Roy Walkenhorst at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Arlington, NE. Jerri and Roy lived on a farm near Arlington and later moved to Fremont.

Jerri enjoyed reading and a was an Elvis Presley fan. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded by her parents; sisters, Evelyn Lickliter and Ruby Zagar; and brothers, Ted Schriner and Bob Schriner.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; daughter, Julie (Joseph) Drucker; sons, Mike (Sue) Walkenhorst, John (Jill) Walkenhorst, and Joseph (Kori) Walkenhorst; grandchildren, Tammy, Warren, Kenneth, Falyn, Breena, and Maximus; and great-grandchildren, William, Olivia, Knox, and Myles.

A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later date.
