Patty A Burdess, age 65 of Blair, passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2023, at her home. Private family services will be held.

Patty was born July 20, 1958, in Blair, Neb., the daughter of Henry and Fran Miller. She was raised in Blair, attended and graduated from Blair High School in 1976. Patty attended Metro Community College and earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a longtime employee of Good Shepherd in Blair. On Dec. 16, 1978, she was united in marriage to Danny Burdess. She was an active volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America and served as a troop leader and the cookie chair for eight years. Patty also volunteered for the National TTT Society, serving many years on the council in several different positions at the state and national level. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her husband Danny Burdess; children George (Sandra) Burdess, Diana Lynn, Rebecca Burdess, Crissy (Tim) Smith; grandchildren Heather Burdess, Bevin Burdess, Caroline Feer, Molly Fields, Wyatt Fields, Jerry Otto Smith; great-grandchildren Kamden, Aria, Mia and Charlee; sister Julie Miller-Leukins; sister-in-law Beate Miller; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, nephew and brother.
