Regial “Reggie” T. Johnson was born November 26, 1953 in Oakland, Nebraska to Harlan T. (Oscar) and Virginia (Ginny) Johnson. He passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Bergan Mercy Hospital Omaha, Ne.

Reggie is survived by his son, Colt (Katie) Johnson of Blair; daughter, Lacee Johnson Fremont; sister, JoDee (Bruce) Cate of Hooper; brothers: Mitch (Julie) Johnson of Oakland and Nick (Heidi) Johnson of Hooper; his beloved puppies: Rylie and Butch; grandchildren: Evelyn Johnson, Scarlett Santana, and Archer Santana; nephews: Ross (Katelyn) Johnson of West Point, Jake (Megan) Johnson of Milligan; nieces: Alexa (Lance) Nelsen of Centerville SD, Jade (Wyatt) Jacobson of Oakland; great nieces & nephews: Luke Johnson, Kenton Jacobson, Maryn, Sutton & Kinsley Nelsen.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Harlan “Oscar” & Virginia “Ginny”; brother, Terry; and great niece, Hadley Johnson.

Per Reggie’s wishes there will be no services and he will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Reggie at a later date to be announced.

Living life to the fullest and passing by his motto:

Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid-in-sideways, totally worn out, shouting….

“Holy crap…what a ride!!”
