Ethel Bowes, 59, of 105 South 16th Street in Omaha, Nebraska, died at her home after an illness of one year.

A resident of Omaha forty-one years, she was a graduate of St. Catherine’s Academy, and had been running her own dressmaking shop. She was a member of the St. Bernard’s Church Sodality.

Surviving are two brothers, William H. and Charles J. Bowes; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Underwood and Stella Bowes, all of Omaha.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the residence of her brother, William H. Bowes, 6344 Wirt Street, at 8:30am to St. Bernard’s Church at 9 o’clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Blair, Nebraska.
