Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2pm from Creel's chapel for James Albert Green, 88, who passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph's hospital in Lewistown, Montana.

Green was born in Wheelersburg, Sciota county, Ohio on August 6, 1861 and married Susan Malone August 7, 1886 in Blair, Nebraska. They resided in Blair until 1916 and then moved to Montana, homesteading at Little Crooked, northeast of Roy, Montana.

His wife died in 1929.

Green had made his home in Stanford, Montana the past three years.

He is survived by eight children, R.E. Green of Washington; Myrtle Stricklett of Long Beach, California; Mrs. H. E. Hineline of Blair, Nebraska, Mrs. James Hineline of Iowa, Mrs. Frances Andres, Dewey Green of California; Mrs. J.F. Athiarn of Deer Lodge, Montana and Harland Green of Lewistown, Montana; 31 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Added by others:
