Funeral services for Kathy Brandt, age 59, of Neligh, Nebraska will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2024, at Neligh Faith Community Church in Neligh. Pastor Bruce Phillips will officiate, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden, Nebraska.

Kathy died Monday, January 8, 2024, at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh.

Kathy Brandt, daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Burgen) Campbell, was born October 9, 1964, at Blair, Nebraska. She attended Blair High School.

Kathy married Bill Brandt on April 26, 2016, in Neligh, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with eight children: Angie, Amanda, Jamie, Robert, Jeffrey, William, Jr., Raymond, and Christina.

Kathy lived most of her life in Blair, Nebraska and worked as a heavy equipment operator for a short time, was a Special Olympics coach, and also a homemaker. Most recently, she lived in Neligh.

Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with family. She was a life-long animal lover, especially her two dogs, Skeeter and Buster, and her two cats, Mercury and Snuggles.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Bill of Neligh, Nebraska; children, Angie (Ricky) Rowell of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Amanda Wright of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Jamie (Christian) Madson of Omaha, Nebraska, Robert Price of Blair, Nebraska, Jeffrey Chadek of Omaha, Nebraska, William Brandt, Jr. of Neligh, Nebraska, Raymond Chadek of Neligh, Nebraska, and Christina Chadek of Omaha, Nebraska; many grandchildren; brother, William Campbell of Arlington, Nebraska; and sister, Barbie Reynolds of Newman Grove, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Campbell.

Memorials may be made in care of the family.
